McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable Yard Driver in Orlando, FL to support our distribution operations. You will drive tractor-trailer within yard and connect trailers, conduct pre/post trip checks, and ensure safe, compliant handling of products.

Qualifications include a CDL Class A, 2 years of driving experience, and the ability to read English labels and paperwork. We offer comprehensive benefits and a stable full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years driving experience preferred.
• 100,000‑mile tractor‑trailer experience preferred.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Accident‑free driving record in past 3 years preferred.
• Ability to read and understand labels, instructions and bills of lading.
• Ability to perform basic math to verify quantities.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor, attach trailers, secure lines.
• Clean and spot trailers to doors/locations.
• Inspect trailers for defects; report issues.
• Check refrigeration unit and product security.
• Drive within yard and nearby roads per regulations.
• Meet the physical demands of the job.
• Load/unload and deliver products as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
