Klöckner & Co SE in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Yard Driver (CDL) for the 3rd shift to safely move trailers with a yard switcher. Class A CDL is required; shift hours are 8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. with overtime as needed.

You will operate an 18-wheeler to move axles, read schedules, and ensure deliveries meet customer requirements, while following safety rules, performing quality checks, and keeping a clean workspace. The role offers competitive benefits and time off.

Qualifications

• Six months of truck driving experience required.
• Able to move front and rear axles and brake components.
• Forklift experience required.
• A High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.
• Must follow safety rules and report incidents promptly.
• Must be able to work overtime as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers using 18-wheeler cab to satisfy deliveries.
• Read schedules and position trucks to meet customer requirements.
• Follow site safety rules and safe operating practices.
• Perform quality checks as defined in the control plans.
• Report accidents and near misses immediately.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping at all times.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Operate pneumatic tools and hoists when required.
