Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a CDL Yard Dog Driver to move semi-trailers within the UPS World Port facility in Louisville. This role requires operating a Yard Dog and a 53’ trailer in a busy, high-traffic environment with vehicles and aircraft.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid CDL - Class A is required
• Passenger endorsement required
• One year of CDL Class A driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for preexisting damage and record information
• Relocate 53’ semi-trailers within UPS World Port
• Communicate with customers via radio
• Safely maneuver and back trailers across varied environments
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and guests
• Report incidents to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Refuel vehicle and maintain a clean work area
• Perform pre- and post-inspections to meet DOT safety standards
