Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is hiring for a Water Truck Driver to safely operate water trucks delivering water to dirt, paving and dust-control areas. Must maintain accurate time/material records and follow both verbal and written instructions while communicating clearly on the radio.

The ideal candidate will have a CDL Class B with Tanker endorsement and a valid DOT Medical Card, plus the ability to maneuver and back equipment as required in a busy job site setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; plus two years related experience and/or training.

Position Overview

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of Water Trucks. Drivers will deliver water to dirt crews. Paving crews and pit areas for dust control and grade work.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)

• Can operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must keep time and material records.
• Must follow verbal and written instruction.
• Knowledge of different types material and grades they are spraying.
• Ability for maneuvering and backing.
• Must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, License, Registrations

• Must possess a valid state Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with Tanker endorsement.
• Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.

Work Requirements

• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Incident free driving record preferred.
• May be subject drug, alcohol, physical agilities testing.
