Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Utility Driver to service customers with trash and recycling collection and hauling to disposal sites. Shift: 6:00am - 8:00pm M-F. The role requires operating various trucks, entering/exiting the cab frequently, and maintaining logs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of CDL driving experience, a Class B CDL, and good English communication. Safety, customer service, and reliability are essential in this team-focused position.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Waste industry experience is a plus.
• Able to read and understand maps.
• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate.
• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• Must hold a valid DOT Medical Card or obtain prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and in compliance.
• Operate various types of trucks and routes.
• Enter/exit the truck 300-500 times per day.
• Maintain route and driver logs; conduct pre/post trips.
• Interact professionally with customers to provide excellent service.
