Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Utility Driver to provide safe trash and recycling collection for customers across Dayton and surrounding areas. The role involves operating multiple truck types, following routes, and maintaining accurate driver logs.

Applicants must hold a valid Class B CDL, have 1–2 years of CDL experience, possess a DOT medical card, and be at least 19 years old. The job may require night and weekend shifts and physical endurance for outdoor work.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• DOT Medical Card required or able to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safe and compliant by emptying containers into the truck and hauling to disposal site.
• Operate various types of trucks and complete assigned routes.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day to perform duties.
• Pick up missed stops or routes as needed; deliver containers as required.
• Maintain route and driver logs; conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
