Job summary

Burrtec is seeking a Driver in Santa Clarita, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role involves operating commercial vehicles to collect waste and recyclables while following safety and DOT regulations.

The position requires a valid California CDL (A or B) with no air brake restrictions and at least one year of driving experience. Excellent safety record and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CA CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions.
• One year of work experience as a Commercial Driver.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or DUI within last 3 years.
• Must communicate in English and read route sheets.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely (side loader, front/rear loaders, roll-off, transfer trucks).
• Follow routes and schedules for waste collection and transport.
• Load waste using hydraulic lifts or compactors.
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner and maintain route efficiency.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily.
