Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Villa Rica, GA seeks a CDL Driver/Operator to operate solid waste collection equipment and ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance on designated routes. You will maintain vehicles, perform safety checks, and support recycling programs while delivering reliable municipal services.

Responsibilities include collecting waste and recyclables, transporting to facilities, and performing routine inspections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate solid waste collection equipment (garbage, roll-off, front-loaders, recycling trucks).
• Ensure safe, efficient operation following safety protocols.
• Collect municipal waste, recyclables, yard waste, and bulk items on routes.
• Transport waste to disposal sites or recycling centers.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Report mechanical issues to maintenance.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance (fluids, tire pressure, cleaning).
• Follow local, state, and federal solid waste regulations.
• Wear PPE and participate in safety training.
• Assist in emergency response operations as needed.
