Job summary

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) seeks dedicated Vacuum Truck Drivers/Jet Truck Drivers with a Class A CDL to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves approx.

20% driving and 80% manual labor, including moving hoses and off-loading at facilities, and participating in onsite operations. You will drive vacuum and jet trucks, operate related equipment, and assist technicians while working in hot, wet, cold, and potentially foul environments during extended shifts.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Tanker Endorsement required.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year motor vehicle record.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry/move up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of outdoor manual labor in varying weather.
• Willingness to work in confined/elevated spaces and wear a respirator; may need to be clean-shaven.
• Ability to work shifts longer than 8 hours; emergency callouts possible.
• 2-4 years hands-on experience with tools and heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vacuum trucks on site and transport equipment between sites.
• Assist technicians and perform manual labor daily.
• Operate blasting equipment, hoses, and related gear.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
• Work in confined spaces and elevated areas during 8-12 hour shifts.
