Job summary

United Site Services, Inc is seeking a dedicated Utility Technician to support our field operations with service, fence, and tanker trucks across multiple sites. The job emphasizes safe driving, accurate ticket updates, and timely servicing of portable restrooms and related equipment.

You will perform pre/post-shift inspections, maintain logs, communicate with dispatch, and follow all safety rules. A CDL or non-commercial license and a minimum of two years driving experience are required; strong

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & reports deficiencies to shop.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Operates service truck to and from pre-designated work sites.
• Serves portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various sites.
• Notifies management of issues on back-up routes.
• Maintains radio/telephone contact with dispatch for updates.
• Maintains truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Operates flat bed and fence trucks to deliver or pick-up units and materials.
• Leads fence jobs where a crew is assigned.
• Completes paperwork for tanker/transfer trucks as needed.
