Airgas National Carbonation (ANC) is hiring a safety-minded Bulk CO2 Driver in the Cincinnati, OH area to serve as a Regional Floater. You will operate a cryogenic tanker delivering CO2 to Microbulk tanks with about 10+ daily deliveries and travel 50–75% across OH, IN, KY, TN, IL, MI, WV, and other locations as needed.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend support as needed, start times around 2:00–3:00 PM, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A/B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents within the last three years.
• No DUI within seven years; able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or provide proof of trucking school completion in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely transfer bulk CO2 from the Airgas truck to the customer’s tank via hose hookup.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip DOT inspections and follow maintenance checklists.
• Coordinate route and maintenance to keep the truck in safe, working order.

Compensation: $32.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Weekend support as needed

About the Role

Airgas National Carbonation (ANC) is a specialized division of Airgas that focuses on delivering CO2 (carbon dioxide) to support drink carbonation for businesses such as restaurants, bars, craft breweries, fast-food locations, and entertainment venues.

As a Bulk CO2 Driver, you will operate a cryogenic tanker, making roughly 10+ deliveries per day to replenish onsite cryogenic delivery systems known as Microbulk tanks. All ANC trucks are modern day cabs with automatic transmissions, and we utilize an efficient slip-seat operation.

Important Note: Unlike daily local delivery roles, you will serve as a key regional asset traveling 50–75% of the time to service customers across the region.

Travel Rotation: 2 weeks traveling on the road, followed by 2 weeks driving locally in Cincinnati, OH area.

No Unexpected Travel: You will always receive 1–2 weeks advance notice before any scheduled trip away from home..

Fully Covered Expenses: Company travel card provided to cover hotel stays and daily meal allowances (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

Key Responsibilities

Product Delivery : Safely transfer bulk CO2 product from the Airgas truck to the customer’s tank utilizing a hose hook-up.

Vehicle Inspections : Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company maintenance checklists.

Collaboration : Ensure the route truck remains in proper, safe working order, and coordinate routine or required maintenance on a timely basis.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Class A or Class B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements

No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents within the last three years.

No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years

Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CO2 or any specialty gas experience is a plus, but not required. We will train!
