Memphis-Shelby County Schools in Tennessee seeks a skilled vehicle operator to drive light to large trucks and trailers, deliver materials to district work sites, and perform basic maintenance checks. You will work under supervision, following safety rules and route instructions.

Must hold a high school diploma or GED and a valid CDL (Class A, B, or C). Prior driving experience is preferred. MSCS supports ADA accommodations and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and a valid CDL (Class A, B or C).
• CDL permits and endorsements as required by state law.
• Experience operating trucks and related maintenance basic checks preferred.

Responsabilités

• Drive trucks and trailers to deliver materials to district sites on assigned routes.
• Load and unload materials, maintaining delivery records.
• Transport crew and equipment to job sites for maintenance projects.
• Move asphalt, soil, shrubs, and trimmings to work areas or disposal sites.
• Operate lawn and grounds equipment as needed.
• Report equipment repairs to supervisor promptly.
• Drive pumper truck to extract liquids and transport to approved areas.
• Ensure vehicle is roadworthy and stocked for shifts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
