Responsibilities

• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions with signals from loading crew.
• Maintains logs of working hours or vehicle service status per state and federal regulations.
• Reports vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to vehicles.
• Secures cargo using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, or covers.
• Reads bills of lading to determine assignment details.
• Loads and unloads trucks and assists as needed with loading-related equipment.
