Job Summary

Safely operates a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle according to OSHA, DOT, and company requirements; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR; notes issues for repair.
• Reports unsafe situations or service calls.
• Participates in training and meetings.
• Works with Route Managers to improve efficiency and safety.
• Performs scheduled duties and assists other drivers.
• Reports incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Communicates customer requests/issues.
• Ensures containers are dumped properly and locations are clean.
• Completes documentation at route end.

Qualifications

• No education or experience required.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License B (CDL).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, background, and driving record checks.
