Responsibilities:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
2. Operate Equipment: Drive ready-mix trucks according to regulations, receive loads, evaluate slump, and maneuver at job sites.
3. Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete reports, and clean vehicles.
4. Document and Record Information: Fill out forms, service reports, tickets, and paperwork accurately.
5. Coordinate with Dispatch: Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth operations.
6. Perform Physical Activities: Engage in activities like cleaning, climbing ladders, hanging chutes, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
7. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Ready to Drive: Valid CDL and DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
2. Knowledge of Best Practices: Familiarity with operating and servicing ready-mix trucks and DOT regulations preferred.
3. Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather, and tolerate noise.
4. Customer Focus: Responsible for customer relationships and representing Vulcan professionally.
5. Clean Driving Record: Safe driving history and ability to operate equipment safely.

Hourly Salary Range: $21.63 - $24.45, based on experience and skills. Compensation considers additional factors such as market data and job scope.
