Job summary

Nexicse Varieties in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to unload, move, and stage product for delivery. You will operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, load and unload goods, and help maintain accurate DOT logs.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience, basic math, and dependable work ethic. A Class A or B CDL is preferred, with safety and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Class A CDL or Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is preferred.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 80-100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer and store in designated areas.
• Move product to/from storage, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Sort product before loading and unloading.
• Collect cash or checks when required and remit funds.
• Pickup, load, and unload damaged goods and returns, complete paperwork.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip duties per DOT rules and company policies.
• Move drums/boxes up to 170 lbs using hand truck; go up ramps or stairs as needed.
• Maintain equipment including hand carts, pallet jacks, and PPE.
• Complete DOT logs and maintenance reports; reconcile with company rep.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Job Duties:

Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart/pallet jack, and place in designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.

Move product and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles by hand and special equipment.

Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.

Sort product before loading and unloading.

Collect money (cash or checks) where required, and turn in all funds collected daily.

Pickup, load and unload damaged goods and customer returns, and complete necessary paperwork.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and JFC policies and procedures.

Move drums and boxes weighing up to 170 lbs. using a hand truck (may include going up ramps or stairs)

Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) logs (electronic or manual as required), company vehicle maintenance reports and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required.

Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to hand cart, pallets jacks, and personal protective equipment.

Experience with operating machinery, including forklift, pallet jacket, etc. preferred

Special Requirements:

English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)

Class A CDL or Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record

Lifting/carrying up to about 50 lbs (sacks of rice)

Pushing/pulling over 80 - 100 lbs.

Knowledge of DOT and CDL Regulations

Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Strong attention to detail and highly accurate
