TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a driver with a CDL to load, transport, and deliver materials between company work sites. The role requires safe operation on public highways and private roads, plus accurate documentation and routine vehicle inspections.

The position emphasizes manual handling, use of basic maintenance tasks, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Flexibility for overtime and outdoor work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge and ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions, and communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium to large sized trucks, transporting materials between company work sites using private roads and driving on public highways.
• Load and unload trucks, using other equipment such as forklifts.
• Secure cargo for transport using rope, blocks, or covers.
• Obtain proper and complete documentation prior to moving materials.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and report defects or repairs needed.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or fluids.
• Maintain logs of working hours or vehicle maintenance following applicable regulations.
