Position Overview:

The CDL Truck Driver transports feed, grain, ingredients, and livestock safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, complying with regulations, vehicle inspections, and unloading products.

Driver Roles:

• GRAIN & INGREDIENTS: Deliver grain to customers and pick up ingredients from suppliers. During harvest, participate in field hauling with multiple trips daily.
• FIELD HAULING: Seasonal work during fall harvest, transporting harvested grain from fields to Tosh elevators in Henry, TN. Expect long days and many loads.

What You Do:

• Operate trucks in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver products on schedule.
• Perform safety inspections before and after trips.
• Maintain logs of hours and miles.
• Use tablets or computers for deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and clients.
• Maintain a clean driving record and report incidents.
• Promote a safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Valid Med Certification.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving and criminal record.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
• Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to pass DOT medical exam.
• If hauling livestock, meet physical requirements.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 80 pounds infrequently.
• Operate tire chains during winter as needed.
• Sit for prolonged periods.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Walk, stand, kneel, stoop, climb frequently.
• Work days, nights, weekends, and extra hours as needed.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
