Job summary

Trinidad Benham Corporation in Twin Falls, ID seeks a full-time Truck Driver to transport products between facilities and assist with loading/unloading duties when not driving.

Must hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain required medical certifications; forklift certification preferred. Prior fast-paced manufacturing experience and strong communication with all levels of staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to maintain medical certifications and driving qualifications.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work well with all levels of employees, whether individually or in a team environment.
• Effective communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisors, and management.
• Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transfers trailers between facilities in a truck.
• Operates a yard truck to position trailers to loading/unloading docks as requested by shipping and receiving departments.
• Maintains accurate logs for all trailers in the yard.
• Operates a forklift within the plant during non-driving time when loading/unloading trucks or rail cars.
• When the truck is not in operation, assists with other duties (e.g., drives forklift as instructed).
• Conducts daily inspections of vehicles at shift start and end; reports problems or damages to management.
• Safely operates forklift and performs required daily inspections.
• Reads Bills of Lading and Pick Sheets.
• Uses pick sheets to pick pallets, wrap pallets, stage products, and check orders.
• Maintains clean aisles and rack storage; consolidates pallets as needed.
• Inventories product; labels, sorts, wraps, and ties product.
• Communicates with management and maintenance personnel for repairs.
