Overview

Job Title: CDL Truck Driver (Delivery Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods and food products to stores, ensuring accuracy and documenting discrepancies.
• Safely operate and maintain various truck types, adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Pre-trip inspections & post-trip documentation.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers and store personnel.
• Complete Electronic Logging Device (ELD) entries accurately and timely.
• Perform light vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluids and tire pressure.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Proven experience using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Dependability, punctuality, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Education, Experience, and Age Requirements
