Job summary

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of DOT regulations and the ability to work independently in a warehouse/logistics setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 53 ft dry van or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Warehouse or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 53 ft dry van to transport inventory between company warehouses in the Dallas area.
• Follow established transfer schedules to ensure on-time delivery and pickup.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Secure loads properly and verify documentation for all inventory transfers.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required DOT documentation.
• Communicate with warehouse teams to coordinate loading, unloading and route timing.
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.
