Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

Shoreland Transport USA, a large east coast company is looking for qualified drivers. With a responsive team and top of the line equipment; Shoreland Transport USA has grown into a leader in the transportation industry.

We are currently accepting applications for experienced Truck Operators for our Suffolk location. This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience operating a tractor-trailer unit.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operates units and associated equipment in a safe, responsible and professional manner.
• Follows and complies with all government legislation and internal policies & procedures.
• Participates in all pre-job hazard assessments and inspections prior to commencing any job.
• Ensures proper load securement of all transported product and any other equipment.
• Responsible for safe food practices during transport, loading and offloading of product at different locations.
• Completes all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, while following all federal hours of service regulations.
• Ability to provide leadership and coaching to subordinates through coaching and mentoring.
• Completes job tasks with personal and public safety as the top priority.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (GED or equivalent)
• Must have CDL - Class A license
• 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Valid Health Card
• A clear understanding of various tractor trailer units and their operation
