Job summary

ACI Motorsport is seeking a hands-on Transport & Logistics Crew member to safely move high-value race cars and equipment across the United States. The role blends towing, trailer operation, and on-event mechanical or tire support, with a focus on speed, safety, and professional team representation.

Candidates must hold a valid U.S. CDL with a clean record, be willing to travel frequently, and work weekends and long race weeks.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Experience hauling semi-trailers and/or 2-car enclosed trailers — motorsport or high-value cargo experience preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in either race mechanics or tire operations.
• Ability to travel frequently and fly to event locations across the U.S.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and long race weeks.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to preparation.
• Physically capable of assisting with load-in/out and general event duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport race cars, tools, and equipment to and from races, tests, and workshops across the United States.
• Operate and maintain a semi-trailer or 2-car enclosed trailer with care and precision.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and documented prior to transport.
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and service records.

About the Team

ACI Motorsport is a multi-championship-winning operation, reigning 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America (PCCNA) Pro-Am Champions and runner-up in SRO GT4 America Pro-Am. We currently campaign fourteen cars across three championships — six in PCCNA, four in Porsche Sprint Challenge, and four in SRO GT4 America (two Porsche, two BMW). With expansion planned for the 2027 season into SRO GT3, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup, and SRO GT4, we are seeking talented individuals to join our growing operation at the highest levels of North American motorsport.

Job Description

The role involves transporting high-value race cars, tools, and equipment using either a semi-trailer or a 2-car enclosed trailer, depending on program requirements. Beyond transport, this position is hands‑on at events — the successful candidate will bring either mechanical or tire experience and contribute directly to the crew during race weekends. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced motorsport environment and representing the team professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport race cars, tools, and equipment to and from races, tests, and workshops across the United States.
• Operate and maintain a semi-trailer or 2-car enclosed trailer with care and precision.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and documented prior to transport.
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and service records.
• Assist with vehicle loading/unloading, pit setup, and equipment organization at events.

Contribute in one of the following specialisms during race weekends:

• Mechanical: assist the crew with car preparation, servicing, pit stops, and between-session turnarounds under direction from the Crew Chief.
• Tires: support mounting and balancing, tire labeling and logging, and pressures under direction from the engineering team.
• Follow all DOT and team safety regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.
• Contribute to event setup and teardown (awnings, pit equipment, etc.)

Requirements

• Valid U.S. CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Experience hauling semi-trailers and/or 2-car enclosed trailers — motorsport or high-value cargo experience preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in either race mechanics or tire operations.
• Ability to travel frequently and fly to event locations across the U.S.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and long race weeks.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to preparation.
• Physically capable of assisting with load-in/out and general event duties.

Preferred Experience

• Prior motorsport or race-team logistics experience.
• Mechanical background — ideally as a Chief Mechanic or Floating Mechanic, with hands‑on GT3 or GT4 experience in SRO, IMSA, or PCCNA competition.
• Tire background — hands‑on tire operations experience in SRO, IMSA, or PCCNA competition.
• Familiarity with paddock operations and race event procedures.
• Positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to assist across departments.

Competitive daily rate depending on experience. All travel expenses (flights, hotels, meals) are covered by the team.
