Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in Maryland is seeking an experienced warehouse and driver supervisor with a valid CDL to plan, direct and coordinate delivery operations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will oversee driver activities, schedules, and vehicle maintenance while resolving customer issues and collaborating with sales teams.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant experience.
An active CDL license is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise daily activities of warehouse/driver personnel including route assignments and deliveries.
Ensure compliance with USDOT and other regulatory requirements for vehicles and drivers.
Train staff and conduct periodic driver performance evaluations.
Maintain driver files and schedules for warehouse/driver personnel.
Ensure vehicles meet maintenance standards and cleanliness requirements.
Respond to customer complaints and coordinate with sales for corrective action.
Train staff in material handling and safety procedures.
Monitor logs and dispatch records for accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain mileage records for taxes and leasing.
Learn and use the company’s sales processing software.
