Frederick Living is seeking a Transportation CDL Driver to join its purpose-driven team on a long-term basis. The role requires CDL with endorsements, safe driving, and the ability to coordinate shuttle schedules.

You will interact with residents, operate a 23-passenger bus, and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL with proper endorsement to drive a 23-passenger bus and current medical examiners certificate
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to use a computer and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean driving record
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work extra hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents, drivers, and staff with clear communication
• Schedule shuttle routes and coordinate with department schedulers
• Operate bus safely and follow all vehicle safety procedures
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects promptly
• Respond to scheduling requests within 24–48 hours
• Know the bus route to and from designated sites
• Record incidents in PEER or approved formats
• Support campus operations and assist with driver onboarding as needed
