Join to apply for the CDL Transit Van Driver role at Transdev North America.

We are currently seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join our team in McHenry, IL. As a key member, you will ensure safe and comfortable transportation for passengers, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Position Details

• Starting pay rate: $21/hour
• Benefits include: vacation (5 days first year), holidays (7 days), medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Benefits may vary by location.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow designated routes and schedules, adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws.
• Assist and care for passengers, ensuring smooth boarding and disembarkation.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Valid CDL Class C; paid training provided to obtain CDL.
• At least 5 years of driving experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability for shifts including day, evening, weekends, and overnight.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements.

• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Long periods of sitting, typing, or screen time.
• Work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings.
