Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum of two years of practical trucking experience demonstrating instructional competency.
• Safe CDL A driving record as determined by SAGE Safety Department.
• Knowledge of safe truck driving principles, and laws/regulations for interstate operations; able to demonstrate curriculum content.
• Ability to communicate instructions, assess student performance and guide maneuvers in range and street driving.

Responsibilities

• Instructors must demonstrate professionalism, respect, motivation, maturity and safety.
• Communicate clear instructions to students and assess their performance.
• Guide students through truck maneuvers on range and on-road during shifts of 4–12 hours.
