Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the state in which the position works and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well enough to communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Able to follow safety instructions and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the refuse truck driver on pre-assigned and special routes.
• Help load and unload trash, yard waste, or recycling materials.
• Support safe backing and maneuvering of the truck with guidance from the driver.
• Report safety or customer service issues to the driver or supervisor.
• Participate in routine truck cleaning and end-of-shift duties.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
