CRH APAC-Kansas, Inc., Shears Construction, a heavy highway contractor, is seeking a tractor trailer driver to join our team and deliver dependable service while upholding safety and professionalism on the jobsite.

You will collaborate with co-workers and managers to ensure smooth operations, adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols, and maintain meticulous vehicle records. This role offers growth opportunities within a large organization with a small-company feel.

Qualifications

• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
• Hold a valid CDL Class B license; hazmat/tanker endorsements a plus.
• 18 years or older with a clean MVR and ability to work nights/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer truck and support team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Follow dispatch instructions and comply with DOT guidelines.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and document compliance.
• Load/unload materials safely and maintain truck condition.
• Mentor less experienced team members and participate in general labor tasks.
