Job summary

Clark State College (OH) is seeking a CDL testing examiner to administer commercial driving tests in accordance with federal and state laws. The role collaborates with the Department of Public Safety and the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles to ensure proper testing procedures and accurate data entry into BASS and CSTIMS.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL for at least 3 years, and current Third-Party CDL Examiner certification issued by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with testing procedures and regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable standing for long periods and outdoors when needed

Responsibilities

• Administer CDL testing at appropriate levels as required
• Check candidates in BASS for eligibility
• Enter test results into CSTIMS and BASS
• Coordinate with BMV staff to ensure compliance with regulations
