Job summary

Pavement Preservation Group is seeking Class A CDL drivers to join our team. We offer full-time roles with competitive pay based on experience, per diem for long-distance assignments, and a strong benefits package.

You will drive, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and support outdoor projects across our asphalt preservation sites. Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, DOT-compliant reporting, and working overtime including weekends.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with DOT medical card and no violations in 3 years.
• Tank endorsement preferred; must pass drug testing.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience; tanker experience preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures; lift up to 90 pounds.
• Willing to travel out of town; overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections to meet DOT standards.
• Submit vehicle inspection reports and notify supervisor of issues.
• Be prompt and maintain positive relations with coworkers and management.
• Load and unload materials; work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Follow superintendent directions for daily tasks and job sites.
• Work out of town and overtime including weekends as needed.
• Per diem for locations more than 50 miles from home.
