Job summary

Okie Staffing is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Sod Delivery Driver to transport and deliver sod to job sites and customers in Oklahoma. This hands-on role includes loading, securing loads, and unloading, with regional travel and home time most of the time.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of verifiable Class A driving experience, a clean MVR, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport sod to customer locations.
• Load, secure, strap, and unstrap sod loads for transport.
• Deliver materials to residential, commercial, and job site locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with yard duties and equipment operation as needed.
