Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement required.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Must meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements.
• Previous experience operating shuttle buses, passenger vans, or transit vehicles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Elk Grove and Sacramento roads and traffic patterns.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle buses and passenger vehicles along designated routes in and around Elk Grove, CA
• Transport passengers in a courteous, timely, and professional manner
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
• Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and disembarking as needed
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and passenger manifests
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or incidents
