Job summary

Amcor Thermoform division is seeking a Thermoform Maintenance Technician for 12-hour night shifts in Tumwater, WA. The role involves safe operation of tractors/trailers, daily inspections, and strict adherence to DOT/FMCSR rules.

Candidates must have a Class A CDL and 1 year of related driving experience, plus forklift certification where applicable. Base pay ranges from $30.00–$34.00 hourly with benefits and a bonus program.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience with 53ft trailers.
• Meet the DOT 391.41 physical qualification requirements.
• Ability to operate TMS and WMS systems.
• Able to safely operate a forklift after location certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Maintain safe, compliant driving and shipping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a truck or tractor-trailer.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections for safety.
• Ensure cargo is secured and verify load against BOL.
• Coordinate with dispatch on repairs and maintenance.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance with lease providers.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed after certification.
• Maintain accurate inventory using the WMS.
• Follow FMCSR hours of service and safety rules.
• Complete yard checks and unload/load trailers.
