Job summary

National Car Rental is seeking a Full Time CDL Bus Driver at Washington Dulles International Airport area. The role involves transporting customers in 33+ passenger shuttle buses with a focus on safety and service, and offers benefits including PTO, health and life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.

The schedule provides a guaranteed 40 hours per week with a rotating, unassigned shift pattern and no overnights unless required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Minimum of 1 year of bus driving experience with a CDL transporting passengers.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs to assist customers with luggage.
• Must have a CDL with Passenger and Brake Endorsement (Class A or B).
• No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years and no DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug test.
• No moonlighting allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service including greeting and assisting customers.
• Provide safe, clean and comfortable transportation.
• Ensure bus is mechanically sound and maintained.
• Obey traffic regulations and drive with seat belts fastened.
• Assist passengers on and off the bus and with luggage as needed.
• Operate radio professionally to keep base informed.
• Inspect bus for damage and inform management of hazards.
• Follow route and spacing as per location standards.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
