Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Shipping Driver in the United States, Georgia, Athens area to safely transport trailers to and from docks and storage yards. The role ensures trailer temperature, follows schedules, and maintains equipment with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience in the last 36 months.
• No drug or alcohol positives in the past 5 years.
• Strong communication and ability to follow written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate shipping trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections following guidelines and report issues.
• Operate trucks to maintain product quality and integrity.
• Communicate with associates and supervisors about trailer/storage conditions.
• Keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Transport each trailer as directed.
• Follow housekeeping schedule with proper PPE.
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
