About The Role

As a CDL Semi-Truck Driver, you will play an important role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our event locations. This position is based in Orlando, Florida, and involves mostly local and regional routes. You’ll be home most nights, with overnight travel averaging five nights per month. Responsible for vehicle safety, accurate delivery documentation, and providing excellent service at every stop.

What's a Typical Day Look Like?

Your day may start with a pre-trip inspection of your assigned semi-truck, checking for safety and compliance. You’ll review your delivery schedule, load your freight, and head out to make local or regional deliveries. Throughout the day, you’ll interact with customers, handle paperwork, and keep dispatch updated on your status. After completing your route, you’ll return to base, complete post-trip inspections, and ensure your logs and records are up to date. Most days, you’ll be home at night, with occasional overnight stays.

What You'll Do

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely operate a Class A CDL semi-truck for pickups and deliveries
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Load and unload freight as needed, securing cargo for safe transit
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records in line with DOT and company policies
  • Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location
  • Keep assigned vehicle clean and report maintenance needs promptly

You are a dependable and safety-minded professional with the following qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL license and clean driving record
  • At least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical aspects of the role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently
