Burlington School District is hiring a School Bus Driver with a Class B CDL. The role involves safely transporting students to and from school, maintaining discipline on the bus, and ensuring bus cleanliness and safety.

Immediate start with benefits and district training provided. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Vermont Class B license, and prior transportation or school environment experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a Vermont Driver’s License in the appropriate class (Class B).
• Experience in transportation/driving and working in a school environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety regulations and procedures.
• Obey all traffic laws and maintain student discipline on the bus.
• Ensure buses are clean and report any mechanical issues.
• Transport students to and from residences and schools as scheduled.
• Attend department meetings and comply with district policies.
