Manchester School District in Manchester, NH is hiring a School Bus Operator I (CDL) to transport students safely on assigned routes. Immediate starting date, with full benefits offered.

The role requires a CDL with P and S endorsements, a valid U.S. driver's license, and completion of required safety trainings. Day-to-day duties include pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to schedules, and professional conduct with students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ with a valid U.S. driver's license for two years.
• Hold or be able to obtain Class A/B CDL with P and S endorsements and Air Brake.
• Must obtain School Bus Driver Certificate and basic first aid/CPR.
• Pass Criminal History Checks and USDOT Medical Examiner’s Certification.
• Willingness to participate in Manchester School District Drug and Alcohol Program.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, resident, or have work visa.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus safely and professionally.
• Pick up and deliver students per schedule and route.
• Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe bus environment and enforce conduct.
• Communicate with students, parents, staff, and colleagues.
• Inspect bus pre/post-trip and report issues.
• Ensure bus is clean and fueled.
• Report accidents or delays promptly.
