Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a CDL B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to customers. The role requires adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance, with daily vehicle condition reporting and route execution.

Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, loading waste, customer interactions, and maintaining productivity while upholding company safety policies and core values.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or by the dispatcher.
• Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure routes are serviced timely and professionally.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures; monitor waste for unacceptable material.
