Job summary

LAZ Parking Texas, LLC seeks a DFW Safety Trainer for Shuttle Buses at DFW Airport to foster a safety-first culture. You will design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs, conduct driver evaluations, and ensure compliance with DOT and ADA requirements.

You will work closely with Operations and leadership, supporting afternoon, evening, overnight and weekend shifts while developing safety policies and training materials to improve performance and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license with air brake and passenger endorsements.
• Three years in commercial transportation.
• Two years in a supervisory role within commercial transportation.
• Familiarity with DOT rules and regulations.
• Understanding of ADA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for shuttle operations.
• Conduct driver evaluations and ongoing safety assessments.
• Plan and conduct monthly safety meetings for shuttle staff.
• Provide behind-the-wheel training and remedial coaching as needed.
• Maintain driver DOT files and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and updating safety policies and procedures.
