Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Kent, OH is hiring a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). The role trains to drive a Class B box truck, services parts washers, picks up waste, and sells products on a defined route. Safety-Kleen will pay for you to obtain your CDL.

The position includes on-site training, performance-based commissions, and opportunities for growth within Clean Harbors’ family of companies. Training and full benefits follow full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required within 90 days of employment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to perform physical duties as required.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Service automotive, fleet, and manufacturing customers.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Follow OSHA and DOT regulations.
