Job summary

Virginia Eagle Distributing is seeking a Relief Manager to lead Drivers and Merchandisers, coaching performance and stepping up to cover routes as needed.

If you hold a valid Class A CDL and enjoy multitasking, you’ll fit right in on the Verona team, which values leadership and hands-on route work alike.

This role offers total compensation of $66,000–$69,000, with generous benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, a 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Virginia Class A CDL with DOT-qualified status.
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in route delivery or beverage distribution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across Driver, Merchandiser, and Sales routes.
• Ability to lift and carry 15-40 lbs repetitively (up to 165 lbs) on long shifts.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Basic math for handling monetary transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned team of Drivers and Merchandisers, coordinating daily schedules and ensuring standards.
• Coach and develop the team to achieve market performance standards.
• Own the full employment cycle for your team in partnership with HR.
• Approve PTO, review timesheets, and monitor appearance and conduct.
