CDL Route Driver - Waycross, FL - *Hazmat Required*

Job Summary:

You will operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Responsibilities include collecting empty cylinders, recording transactions, addressing customer inquiries, handling loading/unloading, conducting vehicle checks, and maintaining safety and vehicle condition.

Required Qualifications:
  • Meet physical driver qualifications.
  • Proficiency in English for communication and documentation.
  • Strong verbal skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, goal-oriented.
  • Ability to analyze customer inquiries and solve problems.
  • Positive team player with adaptability.
  • Ability to understand MSDS and perform lifting tasks.
  • Must be able to drive Hazmat cargo for up to 8 hours, with frequent bending.
  • Ability to lift 25-75 lbs., occasionally over 100 lbs.
  • Willing to work overtime and outdoors in varying temperatures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment like forklift and pallet jack.
  • Adhere to safety regulations.
  • Valid driver's license with necessary endorsements.
  • Maintain a drug-free workplace.
  • Safely load/unload, deliver cylinders, maintain accurate documents, foster customer relationships, monitor cylinder levels, assist with inventory and housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Class B or better CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
  • Successful background and motor vehicle check.
  • DOT Clearinghouse verification.
  • One year of relevant driving experience or completion of an accredited truck driving program.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with diverse individuals.
