Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Driver Merchandiser to drive and deliver pre-ordered products to assigned accounts on specified routes. The role emphasizes accurate merchandising, route efficiency, and maintaining customer relationships.

The position requires a CDL Class A license with state coverage, good driving record, and willingness to obtain powered industrial truck certification. Prior pallet jack experience is a plus, with local delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• CDL Class A with license covering both automatic and manual vehicles; Illinois residents must have Illinois CDL.
• Pallet jack experience preferred; powered industrial truck certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers products to customers on assigned route, merchandise displays and rotates products per company standards, and handles returns.
• Uses computer technology to create invoices, collect money due, and settle accounts daily.
• Provides excellent customer service and follows up to meet customer expectations.
• Ensures compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Collaborates with other departments to maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
