Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Delivery Driver Class B for our Winston-Salem, NC location. This role involves safe transportation, loading and unloading of cylinders, and maintaining accurate documentation while delivering to designated routes.

You will operate a Hazmat-equipped Class B vehicle, handle customer interactions, and perform pre/post-trip inspections. A valid CDL-B with Hazmat endorsement, 1 year driving experience, and forklift familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders along designated routes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and collect customer signatures.
• Load and unload materials and manage loading equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provide professional customer service and represent Airgas during deliveries.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment like forklifts when required.
