Job summary

BradyPLUS in Atlanta, GA seeks a CDL Delivery Driver to transport and deliver products to designated customers on scheduled routes. You will operate straight trucks or CMVs, maintain accurate delivery documentation, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time, accurate orders.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CDL delivery experience, a valid Class A or B CDL, and the ability to obtain DOT certification and pass a road test.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CDL delivery experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and pass road test.
• HazMat or air brake endorsements preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain on hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight truck, box truck or CMV to transport products to customer locations.
• Learn and optimize routes, ensure correct order fulfillment and maintain documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, HazMat summaries).
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, FMCSA and company policies and complete safety training; handle HazMat materials properly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management; provide high level customer service.
• Assist with loading/unloading, stocking inventory and general warehouse tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
