Job summary

Toft Dairy delivers milk and ice cream to customers on a full-time basis from its Sandusky, OH location, with early-morning start times and routes that typically complete in about 8 hours. The role requires a CDL Class A or B license, the ability to pass DOT medical, physical, and pre-employment screenings, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities include safe operation of delivery vehicles, accurate product delivery, route paperwork, and routine vehicle inspections, with overtime

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with current medical card.
• Ability to pass DOT physical exam and pre-employment/random drug screenings.
• Experience driving a 10-speed manual transmission.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A or B delivery vehicles on routes.
• Deliver milk and ice cream products to customers accurately.
• Load and unload products using pallet jacks and hand carts.
• Complete route paperwork and required documentation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
• Provide professional and courteous service at delivery locations.
• Represent Toft Dairy with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
