Job Description

Operate a commercial delivery truck over an established route to deliver items such as beer and non-alcoholic drinks to customers' places of business.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts.
2. Record delivery information on the daily delivery record.
3. Prepare order forms.
4. Listen to and resolve service complaints.
5. Place stock on shelves or racks.
6. Set up merchandise and point-of-sale displays or issue point-of-sale materials to customers.
7. Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
8. Issue or obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery.
9. Clean the inside of the truck.
10. Perform routine pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck and assigned equipment.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid CDL license.
• Must be punctual and ready to work scheduled shifts.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate verbally or listen.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks including criminal background, motor vehicle record, D.O.T. safety performance, drug/alcohol screening, employment/education verification, reference checks, and a post-offer physical examination in accordance with company policies.
