Job Description

Operate a commercial delivery truck over an established route to deliver items such as beer and non-alcoholic drinks to customers' businesses.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collecting payments, making change, and recording transactions on customer receipts.
2. Recording delivery information on daily delivery records.
3. Preparing order forms.
4. Listening to and resolving service complaints.
5. Placing stock on shelves or racks.
6. Setting up merchandise and point of sale displays or distributing point of sale materials to customers.
7. Collecting or picking up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
8. Issuing or obtaining customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery.
9. Cleaning the inside of the truck.
10. Performing routine pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck and equipment.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid CDL license.
• Ability to arrive on time and be ready for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, handle, reach, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear as required for the job.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks including criminal background, motor vehicle record, D.O.T. safety performance, drug/alcohol screening, employment verification, reference checks, and a post-offer physical examination.
